This is my variant cover for IDW's Transformers Spotlight: Blurr.
I've based it on an Art Deco style, partly because I could take advantage of streamlining elements, but also to allude to the setting: The Golden Age of Cybertron's past!
Spotlight Blurr is written by Shane McCarthy [link] with art by Casey Coller and colours by Joana Lafuente
I'm looking at your gallery like mad and falling in love with your TF covers. Mainly because of the art deco-like style (I pretty much eat up anything that remains me of the 20s and 30s). This is just plain stylish. Heck, even the two spotlights protruding out of the city has that classy, old-timey feel.
