This is my cover for IDW Publishing's "We Will Bury You" . It's got zombies, and it's set in 1920s New York - What more could you ask for!? (okay maybe giant transforming robots).

The series is written by Heroes actress Brea Grant and her brother Zane and drawn by Kyle Strahm.

This was my first non-Transformers cover for IDW, and it was slightly daunting to be following Ben Templesmith and Eisner winner Nate Powell on cover duties. The brief was to to do it as a mock 1920s movie poster and I had a lot of fun researching styles, layouts and techniques of the era. I tried to make it look as though it was painted & constructed using 1920s technology, although it is purely a digital composition.

I like it!! I'm a big fan of the 20s through the 50s.
